Plus Four CX-T
A contemporary interpretation of Morgan’s trialling spirit, conceived to extend adventure beyond the boundaries of the traditional sports car.
Individuality without boundaries
Plus Four CX-T challenged convention while remaining unmistakably Morgan. Conceived as a modern overland adventure vehicle, it combined the lightweight foundations of Plus Four with engineering solutions developed to explore landscapes and routes far beyond those traditionally associated with a Morgan sports car.
Realised through a close collaboration between Morgan and Rally Raid UK, the project drew together contemporary engineering expertise and Morgan’s enduring spirit of adventure. Every element was shaped by purpose, from its expedition-ready capability to the carefully considered details that supported extended journeys into remote environments.
Limited to just eight commissions, Plus Four CX-T became more than a special project. It demonstrated the flexibility of Morgan’s coachbuilding philosophy and reimagined what a Morgan could be, creating an entirely new interpretation of driving adventure for the modern age.
Design Notes
Trials Past. Adventure Present.

From the past
Morgan’s earliest competition successes were forged in demanding endurance trials, where capability, resilience and adventure shaped the marque.

To the present
Plus Four CX-T reinterpreted that spirit for a new generation, extending Morgan’s reach beyond conventional roads and expectations.
Philosophy
Reimagining Morgan's spirit of adventure
Plus Four CX-T was born from a simple question. How far could Morgan’s coachbuilding philosophy be taken without compromising the character that makes a Morgan unique? The answer was a project that combined creativity, engineering ingenuity and a willingness to challenge convention.
Purpose Beyond Convention
Rather than adapting an existing formula, Plus Four CX-T was conceived around a singular purpose. Every element was designed to support exploration, resulting in a vehicle shaped by intent rather than expectation.
Collaborative Thinking
Developed alongside Rally Raid UK, the project brought together diverse expertise and perspectives. This collaborative approach allowed ambitious ideas to be explored, refined and ultimately realised.
Engineering Freedom
Plus Four CX-T demonstrated the flexibility of Morgan’s lightweight architecture and the opportunities created when engineering and craftsmanship are developed in parallel.
A Distinctive Commission
Produced in extremely limited numbers, Plus Four CX-T remains an example of how Morgan can create highly individual outcomes, transforming unconventional ideas into coachbuilt realities.
